May 25, 2006	On 03/01/06 Tom moved to San Antonio. Replacing him on guitar is Mark Lynn (Uranium 9volt). With the addition of Mark to the line up; the band will definitely soar to new musical heights. P.S. The band is now on My Space (http://www.myspace.com/thenearandthefar). Check it out.
July 23, 2005	We've been on hiatus for a few months now. Skot has been off doing the back stage/pink bunny routine for the better part of the last three months. He recently came back on break and yesterday we went into Nu-Tone Recordings and recorded a four song demo with Willie. The mp3's are available on the music page. Hopefully we'll be able to play some shows in December.
November 09, 2004	We are currently revamping the website. In the coming days we will be adding more mp3's and hopefully some pictures (got any? send 'em our way).
October 07, 2004	Charlie has decide to leave the band and concentrate on his upcoming move to Portland, OR. He will be missed and we wish Charlie and Carrie all the best. That being said we have a new bass player, Mike Padua (pictured on the right). His debut will be at an upcoming show on October 30th. We will post more information about the show soon.
